Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter (born March 26 1991) often referred to by her professional moniker Ari Lennox is an American music producer and performer of Washington, D.C. She is the first female artist to be signed to J. Cole's label Dreamville Records. The first album she released on the label on October 21st of 2016 with the title Pho. It was then that she started to gain recognition. Shea Butter Baby, her first studio album Shea Butter Baby was released on May 7, 2019. Ari Lennox uploaded her first tracks online in 2012. She dropped five singles in 2013 and Five Finger Discount in 2013 and Ariography EP in 2013. In 2014, she dropped new music through the internet including Bound. In 2015, she appeared in Omen's Elephant Eyes Album, performing the track "Sweat it out" on 21st July. J. Cole asked her to join him in collaboration for Rihanna's references.
